The 206th day of 2016 was a different Sunday. Because, on 7/24/16, we had Church in the evening, an inter-faith service on the eve of the Democratic National Convention. And the homily was given by our Conference Minister who implored us not to buy in to the fear that political campaigns prey on. And he reminded us that many of God's words of advice start with, "Fear Not." I did not like the fearmongering I was watching at he RNC, and I wonder what is in store for us during the DNC, so today, for the Hymn of the Week/Song of the Day, I picked this one. My favorite part is the last verse, "May I Hear Thee Say to Me, 'Fear Not, I will pilot thee.'" Here's to life with Faith, not Fear!
