Last Day of July, 7/31/16 and, on the 213th day of 2016, I was glad to see July in the rear view mirror. It was a crazy month and I am hoping that things calm a bit (work wise, back spasm wise, weather wise, etc....). But the best part of the day was that Alexa returned to us from her trip to Florida for the UCC National Youth Event. I reflected on Pastor Michael's observation that, in a world with a lot of stress and turmoil, one only needs to look to the youth for a message of hope. So I figured, for the Hymn of the Week (Song of the Day), I'd pick a kid's hymn. This is a little too young for my current kids, but it made me smile when I played it. Here's hoping this coming week is great and filled with hope!
