I drove to work on 1/19/16 and, as often I do, I had 80s on the radio. On the 19th day of 2016, the focus of the channel was often on Glenn Frey's legacy, as he passed away yesterday. We seem to be losing a lot of musical icons from my childhood these days. I think it may be a simple fact of getting older (both me AND the folks I grew up listening to). I love this song of the day, it features Frey on lead vocals and some amazing Eagles harmonies. And the theme, having a peaceful, easy feeling, is a theme I can also get behind. Finding peace among the chaos of the World's events is something I strive for, and this song helps me get there. Hope it adds peace to your lives as well.
