So, on 1/20/2016, I drove to a from work listening to the Billy Joel channel on satellite radio. I am not sure why (or for how long) they are featuring this channel, but since Billy is one of my favorites I sure do enjoy when they do! The 20th day of 2016 was no exception. And one of my favorite of his songs came on this morning, and put me in a really good mood for the day! The song's lyrics have been characterized, even by Billy himself, as corny. But, he said in an interview, ""I thought it was cornball for years. I had trouble singing it at first. Then I got into it and decided everybody has a corny side, I suppose" And I CERTAINLY have a corny side, and I love Billy Joel, and I love corny love songs....so I guess this is why I liked hearing it this morning. And I hope you like hearing it now!
